Facebook woes

Right now I'm down on Facebook. It has nothing to do on the technical end, but more on the emotional side. The past couple of weeks, all I saw were posts praising the Obama health care bill that eventually passed. It is your right to support it and write about how great it is, but your rights end when you start slamming the other side who do not share your same sentiments! My people on Facebook are supposed to be my friends and I don't appreciate attacks on what I believe in.

Politics aside, I also see Facebook as a way to advertise your troubles. Don't get me wrong, I will help all of my friends in times of trouble; however, it breaks my heart when I read them and wish I could make their hurt go away!

My hope is to try to make Facebook a more supportive group by offering insights, book reviews and words of encouragement when needed. Is anyone else up for this challenge?
