Girlfriend to work day.

Last week it was take your girlfriend to work day.My boyfriend, Ed allowed me as a visitor in his North Penn High School special education classroom.

It was the most fun I had in a while. I got to sit in on all his classes, meet his colleagues and watch the movie Avator in the afternoon with the students.

The main reason I enjoyed it so much is I was able to see Ed as a teacher in full action and how much he bonded with the students, how much he cares for them. They are his children. I know the way he deals with them shows what kind of man he is; that same man who shows his gentleness, his lovingness, to me.

I also enjoyed meeting his colleagues. I'm able to pinpoint names with faces now when he tells me work studies. I also know that he is in good hands with the people he spends eight hours a day with.

In addition I loved being with the students, students who just show you love for any little bit of kindness you bestow on them.

All in all it was a great experience and I can t wait to go back again. I guess if I ask sweetly, Ed might let me come back, but only if I'm good.
