I made my boyfriend, Ed take me to IKEA. I don't think it was a bad thing since I believe he had more fun picking out furniture than I did. When I go shopping I select the first item that catches my eye. May it clothes, books, or in this case furniture.
Ed was the opposite. We went around the store and he made me write down the items that I liked which provided me a ballpark figure on what I would have to spend if I invested in dining room furniture which included table, chairs, credenza, and china cabinet.
Plus, he liked looking at some items for his friend's children.
Nevertheless, I did not purchase dining furniture, but did walk away with two bookcases that Ed put together.
I think the thing I walked away with is that Ed took me to Ikea because I asked as well as he liked driving my beetle. On top of that, he didn't feel good and was a trooper throughout it all
